A folding table is functional. A folding table with a custom printed cover is a billboard. Whether you are setting up at a trade show, vendor fair, job fair, farmers market, or community event, a branded table cover is one of the fastest ways to look established and help customers find you across a crowded room.
Step 1: Match the cover to your table size
Most events provide standard tables in two sizes: 6-foot and 8-foot. Measure (or ask the venue) before you order, because a cover sized for an 8-foot table will drape awkwardly on a 6-foot one. If you attend events with different table sizes, a convertible cover that adjusts between 6 and 8 feet is worth the small premium.
Step 2: Choose fitted, throw, or runner
Throw covers drape loosely over the table and are the most economical, with an open or closed back. Fitted covers are tailored with sewn corners for a crisp, professional look that does not bunch. A table runner is a narrower strip you lay over an existing cloth — the budget-friendly option when you only need a logo across the front.
Step 3: Get your artwork print-ready
For the sharpest result, send vector artwork (AI, EPS, or PDF) or a high-resolution PNG with a transparent background. Keep your logo and key text in the front-center panel where it stays visible when the table is staffed. Full-color, edge-to-edge printing means you are not limited to one or two ink colors.
Step 4: Plan for reuse
Unlike dated signage, a well-designed table cover with just your logo and tagline works at every event for years. Choose machine-washable fabric so it travels and stores easily between shows.
